LA Show: Porsche Brings Cayenne Hybrid & 1900 Electric-Drive Lohner-Porsche

Porsche is attempting to show its eco-friendly side at the upcoming 2007 L.A. Show on November 16, with the first appearance of the Cayenne Hybrid in America. Featuring a full-hybrid design where the hybrid module (clutch and electric motor) is positioned between the 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine and the transmission, the Cayenne Hybrid consumes less than 9 litres / 100 km (approximately 26mpg).
