GM Introduces Cell Phone Charging Mats at CES, Production Begins in 2012
Thanks to induction technology, mobile electronic devices, such as phones, can be wirelessly charged, just by placing them on special pads. At the 2011 CES in Las Vegas, General Motors announced plans to introduce the wireless charging technology in many future Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac products, beginning from the second half of 2012. GM Issues Separate Recalls on Cadillac CTS and Escalade, and Chevy and GMC Trucks
General Motors is recalling close to 100,000 vehicles in two separate campaigns. GM Reveals “Fuel-Saving” Chevy Silverado & Tahoe and GMC Sierra & Yukon XFE Models
In an attempt to staunch plummeting sales of large pick-up trucks and SUVs, GM has announced the release of the XFE versions of the 2009 Chevy Silverado, Chevy Tahoe, GMC Sierra and GMC Yukon. XFE stands for “Xtra Fuel Economy” and what it means is that GM has fine tweaked these vehicles to deliver a 5% increase in EPA-estimated highway fuel economy and more than 7% improved mileage in city

2008 GMC Terrain SUV Debuts In Kuwait
In the U.S., buyers know it as the Saturn Vue while in Europe, as the Opel Antara. From now on it will also be know as the 2008 GMC Terrain in the Middle Eastern region as GM introduced a rebadged version of its compact SUV at the Kuwait International Automobile Exhibition 2007 (November 28th to December 4th).
