Let the mods begin; as soon as the guys over at Speedfactory received their first 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 they went straight to work adding a 5.5 lb supercharger as the first step (Stage 1). According to Speedfactory’s initial dyno results, the 6.1-liter supercharged Hemi V8 delivers 496Hp to the rear wheels, meaning that there should be around 600Hp at the crankshaft. The more desirable R/T model with its 5.7-liter V8 Hemi kicks off at $29,995, while the top-spec SRT8 model which is already on sale, received a $2,000 bump and it now starts off from $39,995. -
