Toyota to Produce Camry Hybrid in Australia

Toyota confirmed today that it will build the Camry Hybrid sedan at its Altona plant in the State of Victoria in south-eastern Australia from the beginning of 2010. Currently, the hybrid Camry is produced only in Japan and the United States. The Japanese carmaker plans to produce 10,000 hybrid Camry vehicles each year for the Australian market. This will add to the existing four-cylinder Camry
