Mercedes-Benz Ending McLaren SLR Production in 2009

In less than a year’s time, Mercedes-Benz will terminate the production of its McLaren SLR Roadster -the Coupe stopped being produced at the end of 2007, thus ending the supercar’s five-year scheduled run. Even though the SLR’s production rose to 275 units last year, up by 14 cars compared to 2006, that number is still a far cry from Mercedes’ initial estimates of 400 to 500 units a year. Via:
