Ford to Build U.S.-Bound Fiesta in Mexico

According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, Ford is expected to announce today that it will build its U.S.-bound Fiesta in Mexico. The subcompact hatch that will go on sale in Europe and Asia this year is expected to arrive in North American showrooms by 2010. If the report turns out to be true –and we have no reason to doubt it-, Ford’s decision not to produce the Fiesta in the U.S.
