Ford Introduces New Turbocharged Direct Injection 4 & 6-Cylinder Engines

At the upcoming Detroit Show (January 13) Ford will introduce a new engine technology called “Ecoboost”. In plain English, “Ecoboost” translates to Ford’s new family of 4 and 6-cylinder engines that feature turbocharging and direct injection technology (same as the VW Group’s TFSi / TSi units).
